  2. Call GP After Hours Access on 1300 130 147 

Hours: Weeknights – 5:30pm until 8am the next day

             Weekends – 12pm Saturday to 8am Monday

             Public Holidays – 24 hours

Appointment Bookings

It is the practice’s policy that for any patient requests the doctor needs to see you for an appointment. The practice is extremely busy therefore your cooperation with this is greatly appreciated.

Requests can include but not limited to the following: 

  • Scripts 
  • Referrals 
  • Forms 
  • Letters 
  • Medical certificates 
  • Pathology Forms 
  • Imaging Forms

Home Visits

We do offer home visits to patients who are too ill to attend the practice or housebound. To enquire about a home visit please call the practice. Please note that this is at the discretion of the treating doctor.

Results

Results are reviewed by the doctor in a timely manner once they are received. 

If the doctor wishes to see you, you will receive a text message from HotDoc advising that you need to make a non-urgent appointment. If you have opted out of health messages from HotDoc then you will be contacted by the practice via phone call or letter to arrange an appointment.

If the doctor wishes to see your urgently, the practice will contact you to organise an appointment as soon as possible.

Reminders

Reminders are sent out automatically 1-2 weeks before their due date by HotDoc. You will receive a text message advising you to book a reminder appointment. If you have opted out of health messages from HotDoc then you will be contacted by the practice via phone call or letter to arrange an appointment.

Feedback, Suggestions

At Singleton Doctors we strive on providing an efficient, caring and quality service to our patients. To ensure this is occurring we encourage you to give us feedback and/or suggestions. Your feedback and suggestions will assist us in improving the service we provide to you and the wider community. If you have any feedback/suggestions, you can:

  • Complete paper slip and put in the suggestion box (please note this is locked and only accessed by staff members)
  • Write us a letter
  • Send us an email 
  • Speak to your GP or Nurse
  • Speak to the Practice Manager or Office Manger
  • Speak to the reception staff

Complaints

If you have any concerns or complaints, you can express them to us in writing, phone or email. We will then attempt to resolve it in accordance with our resolution procedure. Please allow a turnaround of 30 days for us to process the complaint.

    Zero Tolerance

    Our practice has a zero-tolerance policy for abusive behavior. Any patient who exhibits abusive behavior towards our staff will be issued with warning letters or discontinuation of care letters . Our staff are working the hardest they can be able to help you, so please be kind and patient towards them.
